On December 2nd Bob & Dale was honored as part of the Gotham Awards Student Short Film Showcase. Each film receives a grant, distribution on Jet Blue flights, a theatrical premier, and distribution on Focus Features online platforms.

Bob & Dale was honored to receive the Grand Jury Award for Best Global Short Film at the SCAD Savannah Film Fest in October.

From September to November three of Laura's shorts screened in five different festivals.

The short film Bob & Dale, produced by Laura will be making it's premiere at the Palm Springs Short Film Festival this June. Followed by a screening at LA Outfest in July.

In early June, the first private reading of Laura's new film Kite's Fly East took place. Six actors came together to read the piece and offer feedback.

 

 

 

 

 

In May Laura's short film Another Day of School was released online. The piece is a one-shot musical parody dance number.
